Agreement

By using Invoicr you agree to these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to accept them for that company.

What you may do

• Create unlimited invoices, with or without an account, including for commercial use.
• Use free templates for any number of invoices with no watermark and no attribution requirement.
• Export your data whenever you like, in CSV or JSON.
• Use the API on Pro, within the documented rate limits.

What you may not do

• Use Invoicr to create documents intended to deceive — fabricated invoices, false tax registrations, or invoices for supplies that did not occur.
• Resell or redistribute our premium templates as your own product.
• Attempt to circumvent tier limits, scrape the service at scale, or interfere with its availability.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use, including logos and signatures.

Your content

Everything you put into an invoice remains yours. We take no ownership and claim no licence beyond what is technically necessary to store, render and deliver the documents you ask for.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you invoice, and for keeping records your jurisdiction requires you to keep.

Not professional advice

Invoicr validates structure and arithmetic. It will tell you that a GSTIN checksum fails, that an invoice number exceeds the 16-character limit in Rule 46(b), or that a reverse charge is missing a customer VAT number. It cannot know whether a supply is taxable, which rate applies, or how your return should be filed.

Nothing in the product or on this site is tax, accounting or legal advice. You remain responsible for compliance, and we recommend you have a qualified professional review your position.

Accounts

Sign-in is by magic link sent to your email. Keep access to that mailbox secure — anyone who can read it can sign in as you. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Plans, purchases and billing

• The free tiers are free indefinitely, with no watermark and no export paywall.
• Pro is billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe. Cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period.
• A premium template purchase is a one-time payment granting your business perpetual use of that template within Invoicr. It is not a licence to redistribute the design.
• Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice. An existing paid period is never repriced.

Client payments

Pay Now buttons operate through your own Stripe or Razorpay account. We facilitate the request and record the outcome; we are not a party to the transaction, do not hold funds, and take no commission. Your relationship with the provider, and with your client, is yours.

Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Because anonymous rendering happens in your browser, the core builder and PDF download continue to work even if our servers are unavailable — which is a deliberate design choice, not a coincidence.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Invoicr is provided as is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit, lost business or tax penalties arising from how you used the documents you produced.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months or USD 50. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Termination

You may stop using Invoicr at any time and delete your workspace from settings. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and where practical we will tell you why and give you an opportunity to export your data first.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced to account holders. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any statutory rights you have where you live.
